Today's devotional speaks a lot of what my life's relationship has been with God. It is loving Him and knowing Him intimately. It is holding on to his Promises. He is who I've held on to, through the stormiest of storms. It is He who I wait on as I patiently endure the testing. I truly have held on to this scripture.

May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and Christ's perseverance.

Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.
God blesses the people who patiently endure testing. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that god had promised to those who love him. ~James 1:12
You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. ~2 Timothy 2:3
Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve. ~Colossians 3:23-24
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
