Let the Holy Spirit fill you today and always, In Jesus Name My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. ~James 1:19-20 Do not associate with a man given to anger; or go with a hot tempered man, or you will learn his ways and find a snare for yourself. ~Proverbs 22:24-25 Don't be quick -tempered, for anger is the friend of fools. ~Ecclesiastes 7:9 The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, and his glory is to overlook a transgression. ~Proverbs 19:11 A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame. ~Proverbs 12:16 Do all things without grumbling or disputing. ~Philippians 2:14 For wrath kills a foolish man, and envy slays a simple one. ~Job 5:2 "Be angry, and yet do not sin"; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity .... Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. ~Ephesians 4:26-27,31 "But I say to you that whoever is anger with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgement. And whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!' shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of hell fire." ~Matthew 5:22 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger ... A hot-tempered man stirs up strife, but the slow to anger calms a dispute. ~Proverbs 15:1, 18 Dear friends, never avenge yourselves. Leave that to God. For it is written, "I will take vengeance; I will repay those who deserve it," says the Lord. ~Romans 12:19 Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam; so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out. ~Proverbs 17:14 A man of great wrath will suffer punishment; for if you rescue him, you will have to do it again. ~Proverbs 19:19 Cease from anger and forsake wrath; do not fret; it leads only to evildoing. ~Psalm 37:8 He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly ....
