Some of the most beautiful moments one can spend is when reflecting on the Love of God. I pray you all feel His love and rejoice in Him for the victory that awaits for whatever situation you are are facing today or any day. He doesn't say, "I love Mary more than I love John." God loves us ALL the TIME! He loves us today with a full understanding of our struggles. He's not waiting to love us until we overcome our weaknesses or bad habits. God IS Love!!! ;-) Blessings to you all in Jesus Name.
We love because He first loved us. ~1 John 4:19
Are you ready for a New Heart? Maybe you need just to be brought back to life. Tonight's devotional is about the love of God and his gift to us all. Such great Love for us! Just listen tonight and then ask yourself - how has your new heart transformed your life? Loving you all, in Jesus Name.
"I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart." ~Ezekiel 36:26
Tonight, let us Praise Father God for all that He is; all that He does; all that He can do. He does it out of love for us. He is the Father to the fatherless and helper to the fatherless. He is Papa God! Let us not forget all that he has helped us in times of affliction. In Jesus Name.
But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless. ~Psalm 10:14
I pray you all do a good ol' heart check on yourselves. Asking yourself what kind of good things has God done for you? Then taking a deeper look into your heart and asking if you can find Joy even when facing tough situations and dealing with tragedy? I pray that you can say 'yes'. Joy is the fruit of the Spirit. It is where we can find the gift of peace and find goodness along with practicing patience. It's reflecting God's Faithfulness and finding Strength of Gentleness. Yes, even when it's tough. It's a good place to find self-control but we have to give ourselves a heart check and dive deeper into Joy on a daily basis in God's presence. I'm sure you can find all kinds of devotionals and studies on the fruit of the Spirit and Joy. Today, I just wanted to share a little of the heart of it with you all. May you all have a peaceful evening, in Jesus name.
The Lord is my strength and my shield, my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. ~Psalm 28:7
So much happening in this world yet we get so caught up with things and we forget the Lord's invitation to rest in Him. So today, I pray you all take a moment and rest in God's spa for the soul. Once you are reminded of what it's like to live freely and lightly when keeping company with Him. You'll want to keep turning to Him. ;-) "Ahhhhhhh..." Thank you Lord!
"Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" ~Matthew 11:28-30
