Hello my beloveds,
Here are the scriptures that support the topic of Loving God. I hope these scriptures draw you a little closer to Him. Love Him and let Him shower you with His love, grace and mercy. God Bless you all... But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. ~Deuteronomy 4:29 But if anyone loves God, he is known by Him. ~1 Corinthians 8:3 The Lord watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. ~Psalm 145:20 "So be very careful to love the Lord your God." ~Joshua 23:11 Do not love the world or the things in the world. if anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. ~1 John 2:15 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. ~Romans 8:28 "I love those who love me; and those who diligently seek me will find me." ~Proverbs 8:17 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. ~John 8:42 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to god for a sweet-smelling aroma. ~Ephesians 5:1-2 "And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment." ~Mark 12:30 For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints. ~Hebrews 6:10 "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart." ~Deuteronomy 6:5-6 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love him because He first loved us. ~1 John 4:16-19 (BEAUTIFUL) So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all fullness of God. ~Ephesians 3:17-19 Those who obey my commandments are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them, and I will love them. And I will reveal myself to each one of them. ~John 14:21 Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. ~Jude 21
Hello my beloveds,
I want to apologize for the not so great recording of this devotional but I was using a different sound system that I wasn't to fond of. Will go back to the one I had before. Plus I had a little bit of an allergy sniffle that didn't help. So again, apologies for the poor recording. Here are the scriptures on the subject of forgiveness, may they help you understand a little more to why it's important for you to do that internal cleansing in your heart so that you can draw Him (God) a little closer so that His Spirit can help you with the ability to forgive others. God bless you with healed hearts. "No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more." ~Jeremiah 31:34 The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, and his glory is to overlook a transgression. ~Proverbs 19:11 "But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. If anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, let him have your coat also. Whoever forces you to go one mile, go with him two." ~Matthew 5:39-41 "And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us." ~Luke 11:4 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven." ~Luke 6:37 Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. ~Micah 7:18 (POWERFUL!) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ~1 John 1:9 Bless the Lord,, O my soul, and forget none f His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases. ~Psalm 103:2-3 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. ~Ephesians 4:32 None of their past sins will be brought up again, for they have done what is just and right, and they will surely live. ~Ezekiel 33:16 Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; according to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions. ~Psalm 51:1 "But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too." ~Mark 11:25 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. ~Matthew 26:28 (Jesus died and shed His blood for you and I, so our sins could be forgiven) Not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving blessings instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing. ~1 Peter 3:9 Take heed to yourselves: If they brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. ~Luke 17:3-4 How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered! ~Psalm 32:1 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. ~Colossians 3:12-13 "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more. ~Hebrews 8:12 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times." ~Matthew 18:21-22 (Let this be one of those strong scriptures that you learn to live by. It's freeing.) "For if you forgiven men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." ~Matthew 6:14 (I don't know about you but I sure want my heavenly Father forgive me.)
Hello my beloveds,
Here's today's scriptures that go along with the topic of conversation - the power we have with the words we say. Hope today's devotional will give you something to think about and pray about. Perhaps change something in you that has been stirring deeply within you. God bless you all~ When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise. ~Proverbs 10:19 "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. ~Matthew 12:35-37 Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. ~James 4:11 A many has joy in an apt answer, and how delightful is a timely word! ~Proverbs 15:23 For the Scriptures say, "If you want a happy life and good days, keep your tongue from speaking evil, and keep your lips from telling lies." ~1 Peter 3:10 Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person. ~Colossians 4:6 If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man's religion is worthless. ~James 1:26 (I see so much of this on social media. Praying for that to change for those who do this.) Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. ~Ephesians 4:29 "When they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in the very hour what you ought to say." ~Luke 12:11-12 Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips. ~Psalm 141:3 I said, "I will watch my ways and keep my tongue from sin; I will put a muzzle on my mouth as long as the wicked are in my presence." ~Psalm 39:1 For we all stumble in many ways, If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body as well. Now if we put the bits into the horses' mouths so that they will obey us, we direct their entire body as well. Look at the ships also, though they are so great and are driven by strong winds, are still directed by the very small rudder wherever the inclination of the pilot desires. So also the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things. See how great a forest is set aflame by such a small fire! And the tongue is a fire, the very world of iniquity, the tongue is set among our members as that which defiles the entire body, and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by hell. For every species of beasts and birds, of reptiles and creatures of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by the human race. But no one can tame the tongue; it is a restless evil and full of deadly poison. With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the likeness of God; from the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be this way. ~James 3:2-10 (WOW - STRAIGHT TO THE HEART OF THE DEVOTIONAL) He who strains his words has knowledge, and he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding. ~Proverbs 17:27 He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from calamity. ~Proverbs 21:23 A fool vents all his feelings, but a wise many holds them back. ~Proverbs 29:11 Do you see a man hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him. ~Proverbs 29:20
Hello my beloveds,
Here are some scriptures on Courage. May they enlighten you so that you continue to grow in the Holy Spirit to count on God more. Knowing with God's help, you will have the courage to make the right choices - every time. God bless each and every one of you. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. ~Hebrews 13:6 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of the power and of love and of a sound mind. ~2 Timothy 1:7 By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world. ~1 John 4:17 And now, dear children, continue to live in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame. ~1 John 2:28 We have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him. ~Ephesians 3:12 Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whenever I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved - and that by God. ~Philippians 1:27-28 (Powerful stuff here. Soak it in beloveds) In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His children will have a place of refuge. ~Proverbs 14:26 We have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus. ~Hebrews 10:19 (Amen!) For the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught. And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. ~Ezekiel 2:6 (I just love how KJV of the bible can bring out the power and deepness of some scripture.) Be brave, be strong. ~1 Corinthians 16:13 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God. ~1 John 3:21 Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. ~ Proverbs 28:1 Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in the Lord. ~Psalm 31:24 By standing firm, you will win your souls. ~Luke 21:19 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. ~Philippians 4:13
Hello my beloveds
Here are the scriptures that I shared with you in today's devotional on the topic of Anger with many more that support the subject. May God bless each and every one of you and thank you for the loving messages of support you've given. Let the Holy Spirit fill you today and always, In Jesus Name My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. ~James 1:19-20 Do not associate with a man given to anger; or go with a hot tempered man, or you will learn his ways and find a snare for yourself. ~Proverbs 22:24-25 Don't be quick -tempered, for anger is the friend of fools. ~Ecclesiastes 7:9 The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, and his glory is to overlook a transgression. ~Proverbs 19:11 A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame. ~Proverbs 12:16 Do all things without grumbling or disputing. ~Philippians 2:14 For wrath kills a foolish man, and envy slays a simple one. ~Job 5:2 "Be angry, and yet do not sin"; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity .... Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. ~Ephesians 4:26-27,31 "But I say to you that whoever is anger with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgement. And whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!' shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of hell fire." ~Matthew 5:22 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger ... A hot-tempered man stirs up strife, but the slow to anger calms a dispute. ~Proverbs 15:1, 18 Dear friends, never avenge yourselves. Leave that to God. For it is written, "I will take vengeance; I will repay those who deserve it," says the Lord. ~Romans 12:19 Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam; so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out. ~Proverbs 17:14 A man of great wrath will suffer punishment; for if you rescue him, you will have to do it again. ~Proverbs 19:19 Cease from anger and forsake wrath; do not fret; it leads only to evildoing. ~Psalm 37:8 He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly .... He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly. ~Proverbs 14:17, 29 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. ~Colossians 3:8
Adversity is one of the biggest falsehoods Satan would love us to believe in order to live a life of peace. Here are scriptures that go along with the topic of today's devotional. Thank you for listening and thank you for sharing.
The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. ~Psalm 9:9-10 Here's a good one... For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: "The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me." For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. ~Romans 15:3-4 Are any among you suffering? They should keep on praying about it. And those who have reason to be thankful should continually sing praises to the Lord. ~James 5:13 "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." ~Matthew 5:4 He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign Lord will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery against his land and people. The Lord has spoken! ~Isaiah 25:8 The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him. ~Nahum 1:7 Record my lament; list my tears on your scroll - are they not in your record? Then my enemies will turn back when I call for help. By this I will know that God is for me. ~Psalm 56:9-9 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. ~1 Peter 4:14 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. ~Psalm 23:4 "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you." ~Isaiah 43:2 For the Lord will not reject forever, for if He causes grief, then He will have compassion according to His abundant loving kindness. ~Lamentations 3:31-32 But rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. ~1 Peter 4:13 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. And our hope of yo is stedfast, knowing, that ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation. ~2 Corinthians 1:5-7 Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. ~1 Peter 5:7 "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heaven laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and My burden is light." ~Matthew 11:28-30 For this finds favor, if for the sake of conscience toward God a person bears up under sorrows when suffering unjustly, For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God. For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you and example for you to follow in His steps, " Who committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in his mouth"; and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering. He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously. ~1 Peter 2:19-23 (WOW, awesome stuff, right??) Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. ~Revelation 2:10 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. ~2 Corinthians 4:17 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. ~2 Corinthians 12:7-9 Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. ~Psalm 30:5 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. ~Psalm 34:17 "Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh. Blessed are you when men hate you, and ostracize you, and insult you, and scorn your name as evil, for the sake of the Son of Man. Be glad in that day and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven. For in the same way their fathers used to treat the prophets." ~Luke 6:21-23 "I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world." ~John 16:33 In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. ~ 1 Peter 1:6-7 After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. ~1 Peter 5:10 Blessed is the man who endures temptation: for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. ~James 1:12 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. ~Romans 8:18 Rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer.... ~Romans 12:12 I love using different Bible versions as they all have a different ways of expression. To me this is just my personal preference when getting the point across, to the audience you are talking to. |
