Hello beloveds,
Here are the scriptures for today's devotional on Humility. I hope you are having a fantastic day today. May God bless you and your loved ones. But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. ~James 4:6-7 By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life. ~Proverbs 22:4 The humble have seen it and are glad; you who seek God, let your heart revive. ~Psalm 69:32 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom. ~Proverbs 11:2 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death - even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. ~Philippians 2:5-11 "I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For the proud will be humbled, but the humble will be honored." ~Luke 18:14 For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones." ~Isaiah 57:15 The fear of the Lord is the instruction for wisdom, and before honor comes humility. ~Proverbs 15:33 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. ~Matthew 23-12 You younger men, likewise, be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you at the proper time. ~1 Peter 5:5-6 Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. ~Philippians 2:1-3 For though the Lord is exalted, yet He regards the lowly, but the haughty He knows from afar. ~Psalm 138:6 He mocks proud mockers but gives grace to the humble. ~Proverbs 3:34 "Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." ~Matthew 18:4 Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you. ~James 4:10 Comments are closed.
