It's been something that I myself haven't thought of lately but it sure was a delight to have the Holy Spirit move that in me as a focal point today -- Enjoy in the name of Jesus. The God who makes the word and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in Temples built by human hands. And He is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. May there be good works in your life as you grow closer to God, in the name of Jesus. ;-) For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. ~Hebrews 4:15-16 When He came to the place, He said to them, "Pray that you may not enter into temptation." ~Luke 22:40 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth himm with his hand. ~Psalm 37:24 Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble. ~Psalm 119:165 "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak." ~Matthew 26:41 Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when is tempted, "I am being tempted by God'; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not temp anyone. But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. Thank you for all the love and support ya'll are sending me! Ya'll are wonderful and I thank God for each and every one of you - may God bless you, in Jesus Name, Amen. As promised, let me share with you how I use the weapon of the Word of God in my life daily. They are short prayers I say out loud - Yes, I said daily. Not telling you what to do or how to do it. I am just sharing what works for me and now God's directing me to share with you -- Because HE loves you! ;-) So with that said, let's get started... In Jeremiah 29:11, God says to Israel, "I know the plans that I have for you...plans for good and not for evil". There are different wording in the different translations: "plans to prosper you" and "not for calamity to give you a future and a hope". What I did: I made it my own with God by saying, "Lord, I thank You that You know the plans You have for me, plans of good and not of evil, plans of prosperity and not of calamity, to give me a future and a hope. In Jesus name, Amen." I did the same for when dealing with health issues and with all the attacks I would get that are fearful, negative thoughts. You know those thoughts, "what would happen if I were to die?". Terrible thoughts, but I found peace with making scripture personal for me. So whenever the Bible said, "you," I replaced it with "I." This made things so much easier to adapt for me. Kinda like making my own proclamation. And I have many of them. Don't worry, over time I will share as directed. :-) Here's what I say when those disturbing thoughts come in: "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord, in Jesus Name, Amen!" This was changed to make it personal for me from Psalm 118:17, which I have memorized it this way for me. For I use it a lot. Hope this helps. Today's devotional addresses a lot of the emails that I've been getting lately. I was going to list out the questions here and answer them but the Holy Spirit led me to speak from my heart and be who I am, in Christ Jesus -- Real and transparent. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what god's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will. ~Romans 12:2 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your works; I muse on the work of Your hands. ~Psalm 143:5 Evil plans are an abomination to the Lord, but pleasant works are pure. ~Proverbs 15:26 For "who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ. ~1 Corinthians 2:16 And He said to him, " 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' " ~Matthew 22:37 Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits at God's right hand in the place of honor and power. Let heaven fill your thoughts. Do not think only about things down here on earth. For you died when Christ died, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your real life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory. ~Colossians 3:1-4 (First time I ever read this, I cried for I so loved God) Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. ~Proverbs 4:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. ~Psalm 139:23-24 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. ~Isaiah 26:3 "The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks." ~Luke 6:45 For the word of God is full of living power. Oh let's talk about the subject most have a really hard time admitting and wanting to be forthcoming of. Especially when we recognize that we've sinned against our heavenly Father and need to ask His forgiveness. "Repentance." Now go on and read the scriptures and know I share them with the love of Christ. In the name of Jesus. ;-) Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. ~James 5:16 "But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, nor sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." ~Job 22:23 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. ~Matthew 12:31 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart -- these, O God, You will not despise. ~Psalm 51:17 "But if wicked people turn away from all their sins and begin to obey my laws and do what is just and right, they will surely live and not die. All their past sins will be forgotten, and they will live because of the righteous things they have done. Do you think , asks the Sovereign Lord, that I like to see wicked people die? Of course not! I only want them to turn from their wicked ways and live." Ezekiel 18:21-23 The Lord has heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer. ~James 4:8 "God...commands all people everywhere to repent." ~Acts 17:30 Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? ~Romans 2:4 (GOOD ONE! AMEN) The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those who are crushed in spirit. ~Psalm 34:18 He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will find compassion. ~Proverbs 28:13 Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake this way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. ~Isaiah 55:6-7 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanses us from all unrighteousness. ~1 John 1:9 For they themselves report about us what kind of a perception we had with you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God, and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come. ~1 Thessalonians 1:9-10 "Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray the Lord that, if possible, the intention of your heart may be forgiven." ~Acts 8:22 (YESSSS.... Finally, when I have given full expression to my hostility and have brought them to the land of their enemies, then at least their disobedient hearts will be humbled, and they will pay for their sins. He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. ~Psalm 24:3-5 "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" ~Matthew 3:2 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the resence of the Lord. ~Acts 3:19 "In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." ~Luke 15:10

Let's talk about "Sin". Oh don't run from this topic. Lets be real with one another.... We all are sinners. So now that we got that out of the way, let's dive into the scriptures..... Much love and blessings to you all.... In Jesus Name. My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense -- Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. ~1 John 2:1-2 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. ~1 Timothy 1:15 Knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; for he who has died is freed from sin. ~Romans 6:6-7 He has removed our rebellious acts as far away from us as the east is from the west. ~Psalm 103:12 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father. ~Galatians 1:3-4 Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness -- by whose stripes you were healed. ~1 Peter 2:24 "Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins." ~Acts 10:43 Your eyes are too pure to approve evil, and You can not look on wickedness with favor. Why do You look with favor on those who deal treacherously? Why are You silent when the wicked swallow up those more righteous than they? ~Habakkuk 1:13 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. ~Isaiah 53:5-6 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remembr no more." ~Hebrews 8:12 God's law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were.
